Who is coaching for?
Coaching is useful when someone:
Wants to be a more effective leader.
Is experiencing a turbulent period in their lives.
Is grappling with challenges at work.
Is processing tough feedback from their manager, colleagues, or direct reports.
Is looking to develop new awareness about themselves.
Is uncertain about what’s next in their career.
Is feeling like something is “missing” in their lives.
What’s a Hudson coach?
Our founder Tom graduated from the Hudson Institute, a coaching school based in Santa Barbara, California. Graduates of Hudson focus on the whole person, using a holistic model that’s based on a cycle of renewal. Ultimately Hudson coaches see coaching as primarily focused at work on the leadership challenges we face at all levels and in life on the changes we seek to make at various stages in the developmental journey of our adult lives. Hudson believes the role of a coach is to help clients find their purpose, vision, and plans for the future.
How does it work?
Coaching is a series of 1:1 sessions that can be purchased either individually or in a package. We meet with our clients for an hour every other week, with sessions occurring either in-person or via video conference.
Is it confidential?
Yes, and we adhere to a code of ethics governed by the International Coach Federation that we take very seriously.
How many sessions will I need?
It truly depends on both the challenge and the person. On average most clients work with us for 3-6 months.
My company is paying for coaching...should my manager be involved?
Great question. If your employer is sponsoring and paying for the coaching you’re pursuing, it’s important to have a meeting between you, your manager, your HR Business Partner and your coach to ensure everyone is aligned and supportive of the goals you’re pursuing.
